NEW: Wife's 78 Firebird Formula Project

My Car's of "L o n g" Ago:

Here's some pictures of a few car's I had in the 70's.
They include a 38 chevy coupe,66 mustang coupe and 65 merc comet caliente!

38 chevy coupe. (A "CHEVY"!) ya,I have owned a FEW.
But look what I "Stayed" with in the end!!!

The next 3 picture's are of the 38. I bought this car for 400 bucks just the way you see it here. Had to sell it though, coudn't afford to keep it at the time. Sure wished I knew were it is now! If I still had this car,I would put a "FORD" engine in it.
Dosen't it get a little "old" to see Ford after Ford streetrods with chevy engines in them? Come on,lets put the shoe on the other foot for a change! I mean "WHERE" is the variety and imagination here!
Did you know that GM stands for "generic motors"! Just kidding.
" IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE THIS CAR IS, I SURE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW"!!

66 mustang coupe.
This is the car I really miss. I built the 67 to take its place. This car was a 6 cylinder, but I was working to convert it over to V8. Had put a 289 3 spd. with 8 inch rear and hooker headers in, but still had to convert the front over from 4 lug to V8 5 lug etc. Thats why the diffrent wheels on front!
Sold this car to a friend and he totaled it. What a mistake to sell.

65 merc comet caliente.
I drove this car shortly out of high school. Was a fun car. I still have it,but it's badly rusted and am now selling parts off of it.
Didn't have the original engine when I bought the car, but I looked up the vin #s and it was originally a 289 4bbl 4spd.

This is the comet a few years ago, before I started parting it out.
