This is one of my favorite images
RED BLOODED AMERICAN PONY POWER!
Here is a list of the parts and mods made to the car.
289-T10 4 spd. ARP fasteners. Windage tray. Forged TRW flat top pistons. World Products Windsor Jr Heads with 1.94 intake and 1.60 exhaust. Comp cam-224 deg.at .050,.501 lift intake and exhaust. MSD dist.,coil and 6AL box with 6000 RPM rev limiter chip (sure glad I put this in as this engine hits this RPM "very" easy and wants to keep climbing)! Edelbrock RPM intake with Holley 650 dbbl. pump. Centerforce clutch. Currie Enterprise 3.55 posi rear gears. Flow Kooler water pump. Three row radiator. 1" front sway bar. KYB gas shocks (front & back, no air shocks). New rear leaf springs(4 leaf). Polyurethane suspension bushings. Granada front disc brakes. Holley fuel pump. Hurst shifter. Grant GT steering wheel with removable anti theft wheel accessory. Pioneer stereo system. Third brake light. Hood turn signal indicator housings and front signal housings in valance, chrome plated. Deluxe interior added and color changed from red to black. Car was painted in original Candyapple Red. Overhead console added. Vinyl top changed from white to black. Crager SS wheels with spinners. 14 x 7 with 4 1/2" backspacing on front. 14 x 8 with 3 1/2" backspacing on back. T/A radials front and back. Front:P215/60/R/14 Rear:P245/60/R/14 Thinking about adding power rack and pinion steering from Total Control in the future.

Why I choose the restomod route.
I choose this route because I wanted to build the car my way,to make a little HOT ROD,something I wanted since I was a kid(maybe I still am!). This is what I would have ordered from the factory in 67, if I could have. Also a real factory GT these days is a little expensive,so I decided to build my own.

MY DYNO 2000 RESULTS-this is with stock manifolds and dual exhaust, which is the way the car is setup now.

MY DYNO 2000 RESULTS-this is if I added headers to the car.
MAYBE I SHOULD ADD HEADERS,what do you think? Sure is quit a horspower and torque gain!
